So, along with Autumn comes pumpkins and with pumpkins comes pumpkin BEER!
First up, Shipyard Pumpkinhead, coming in at 4.7% alcohol volume.
My first sip was full of cinnamon...and it was awesome. I hate it when I try a pumpkin beer and it lacks the quintessential cinnamon and nutmeg flavors of a good pumpkin spice cake. This one does not lack those flavors at all.
Pumpkinhead is very easy to drink, with it's low alcohol content and yummy spices. Try it with a piece of pumpkin pie or with more beer.

Okay, I've never tried a pumpkin beer, honestly I'm a little scared. I love beer and I love pumpkin, it just seems a little odd to mix the two. But, if you say it's good I just may have to try it!
