The other night our friends Angel and Josh walked in with beer I had never tried before. They know the way to my heart. After trying three different beers my favorite stood out strongly, Sam Adams Double Bock.
Some people {like my husband} really enjoy a hoppy beer, however I am a lover of malt, yummy, yummy malt. Sam Adams Double Bock has so much malt it's almost a loaf of bread! My hips may not like that but who cares when it tastes this good! What really impressed me about this bock is how incredibly smooth and easy to drink it was with it's 9.5% alcohol volume!
This beer has a rich flavor and is slightly sweet. Enjoy it slowly, or fast, depending on what kind of night you're going for.
