Crock Pot Chicken & Dumplings

I'm not a cook. But I am a mom, which means I HAVE to cook. That is why I use my trusty slow cooker to do most of the work. Today I wanted to share with you one of my go to recipes that is SUPER easy. It is perfect because it has the veggies in it so their is no need to make a side.

What you will need:

2 Cups cooked chicken
{Store bought rotisserie chicken is great for this!}

1 Box Cream of chicken soup
{I use the big box at Whole Foods}

1 Cup Milk
{If you use condensed cans of soup I would add another cup of milk}

1 Bag mixed veggies

1 Can biscuits

1 Tablespoon Garlic
{or omit if you want}

Cook all ingredients {except for the biscuits} in the slow cooker for 5 hours on high.
After 5 hours cut the biscuits in half and place on top of the soup mixture.
Let cook for 1 hour. {Total cook time 6 hours}
Done!

  8. I use my pressure cooker all the time. In 30 to 40 min. You can have a pot roast dinner. Pressure cookers are not scary anymore. you can even get an electric one that is digital. Cooks everything to fall off the bone perfect. My go to meal is Stan and Nathans favorite, is porcupine meatballs. I don't measure. All it is ,is ground beef seasoned with salt pepper and garlic salt about 1 and a half cups of minute rice Mix all together Roll into balls place in pot with 2 cans of tomato soup. On the pressure cooker bring it to pressure and cook for 15 mins. All done. I normaly steam broccoli and make a cheese sauce. I sure you could cook this in a pot covered on top of the stove. debi rowlan
