Leffe Blond Belgian Ale {Beer Review}

Ok, I'm just going to start off with this... I LOVE IT! I randomly picked it off the shelf the other day and when I came home Brandon was so excited. He said this is a beer he would drink in France and it is one of his favorites. {and obviously we all know that if it happens in France, it is cool.}

As I poured it I could smell the sweetness in the beer already and new right then I was going to like this beer. At first sip it is sweet but then it has a little zing to it. But not so much that it overpowers the wonderful taste. I don't know how to describe it other than, it's a light blond ale but has a heavy feel to it as well. It reminds me of my dark beers that I love because of it's complexity in taste but it has a lightness to it because of the orange undertones. 

This beer would be perfect with a good seafood dish but honestly, I love it just by itself. Good in hot or cold weather. I highly recommend Leffe Blond Ale. Go try it this weekend!!

  14. I was checking out who I might meet Thursday night at BNO and stumbled across this post you wrote. I really like Leffe! I am a beer snob (It's sad when the liquor store tweets me and says "hey, we're almost out of XYZ beer. You better stop by today cause we aren't getting anymore for awhile."!
