This weeks wine is by far one of my new favorites. If you are not a huge red wine drinker I highly recommend this wine because it is sweet and will introduce you to reds in a really great way. But for those of us who LOVE red wine the blend of Syrah, Zinfandel and Merlot give this red a wonderful full flavor. Plus, it kind of reminds me of winter time so maybe you could crank up the A/C, wrap yourself in a blanket and pretend it's not 110 degrees outside. {No, seriously, I might do this. It is literally 110 here today}

When visiting the Apothic Red website they describe their wine as having "intense fruit aromas and flavors of rhubarb and black cherry that are complemented by hints of mocha, chocolate, brown spice and vanilla. The plush, velvety mouthfeel and smooth finish round out this intriguing, full-bodied red blend."
