Wine O' the Month {Castello del Poggio Moscato}

This months wine was brought to my Fall Wine Tasting Party and is actually more of a champagne. Castello del Poggio Moscato {try saying that 5 times fast} is technically a sparkling wine so it is a great one to sit around and gab with the girlfriends with, or to drink with dessert. {Personally, I would drink this whole bottle by myself. Don't tell anyone} I am a champagne fan but I didn't know what to expect when I poured it into my glass. I do NOT like BRUT champagne because it is way too dry for my taste. This is NOT dry wine. It is bubbly and sweet. I totally recommend it.

Here is what Moscato says about Castello del Poggio:

"Castello del Poggio Moscato is made from the muscat grape and originates from the Piedmont region of Italy. This wine, which means Castle on a Hill, is lightly sparkling, with lush notes of apricot and honey. On its own or paired with a dessert, the wine offers a sweet finish to any meal."

At around $12 a bottle it's a steal for a very nice sparkling wine. Add this one to your shopping list for the weekend!!

Don't forget to enter the Stitch Niche giveaway! It ends tomorrow night. It would be a great gift to give friends or family!

  1. I LOVE this wine!!! I tried it at Olive Garden, and loved it. I asked my local grocery store, Publix, to order it in so I could share with friends and family. Plus Olive Garden charges $26 a bottle. The grocery store is half that price!!! Now I drink it all the time at home.
